Let the AI crawlers in. GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot fetch pages so their assistants can cite them. Firewalls often block them by default. On one engagement the firewall was returning 403 to both OpenAI's and Anthropic's crawlers on every page.
Structured data. Hidden labels that tell software what each thing on a page is: a price, an author, an answer to a question. Without them an assistant has to guess.

What are AI SEO services?
AI SEO services make a website readable, quotable and findable by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews, alongside ordinary search. In practice that is four jobs: letting the AI crawlers in, adding structured data so software can tell what each page is, publishing an llms.txt file, and writing pages in passages an assistant can quote with your name attached. Ordinary technical SEO sits underneath all four.
How is AI SEO different from traditional SEO?
Traditional SEO earns a position in a list of links. AI SEO earns a mention or a citation inside a generated answer. Most of the groundwork is shared, because an assistant cannot quote a page it cannot fetch or understand. The differences are crawler access for AI bots, which many firewalls block by default, llms.txt, and content written as self-contained answers rather than long scrolling articles.
How do you measure AI visibility?
With a score out of 100 made of six weighted checks: AI schema and structured data 25%, AI crawler access 20%, llms.txt 15%, AI content readability 15%, AI content gap 15%, and AI review signals 10%. The weights are fixed before work starts and never change during an engagement, so a rise in the score cannot come from moving the goalposts. It measures readiness to be cited. It does not claim to count how often an assistant mentions you.
How long do AI SEO services take to show results?
The technical layer moves in the first week: crawler access, schema and llms.txt are configuration, and the score reflects them at the next re-measure. Rankings and citations are slower and we do not promise them on a date.
